			<description><![CDATA[Since Fourier Transform methods expect sinusoidal fringes its not surprising that they fail when attempting to analyse an interferogram that has square wave fringes (as in your example interferogram created with paint). In practice square wave fringe interferograms are rarely if ever encountered. If you see them there's something wrong with the setup.]]></description>
